1/14/2020--NEAR NORTH TRAIL RIDERS OF ATHELSTANE: Snowmobile & ATV/UTV Trails located in Athelstane and Silver Cliff areas. Near North Trails are now being groomed on a weekly basis with very good riding conditions. The small snow falls we are getting are helping the trail conditions. Riders should still be aware of wet areas, on the east trail especially. ATV's and UTV trails open year round. Hopefully a good snowfall is in the future and will help to keep the trails in good shape.

1/14/2020--- DUN-GOOD RIDERS Snowmobile & ATV/UTV Trails in the Dunbar & Goodman areas of Northwestern Marinette County. Dun-Good trials are OPEN, GROOMED & in EXCELLENT condition. Trail base is 5" - 6". Trails continue to be groomed multiple times during the week. We did get some light, fresh snow and are looking forward to the additional snow predicted for this week. Winter atv/utv use is allowed on the trail system. NOTE!!! Riding atv's & utv's on HWY 8 is illegal! The trail that connects to Armstrong Creek is NOT accessible for atv/utv use because the trail is on highway right of way. CLUB EVENT: Feb 1st, the "22nd Annual Brat Fry" at Rocque's 8-HI Club in Goodman. Club ride to the brat fry & beyond. See FB page and web site for more details.

Standing corn and swamps/running water are the safety issues. Trail clearing of trees and brush continues. Snow conditions north of HWY 64 are better than south of 64….expect trails north of 64 to open as the club feels they are safe to do so.
